Gratitude

Formed in Newcastle, Australia in 2024, Gratitude brings a fresh and emotionally charged take on alternative rock, fusing anthemic melodies with raw, cathartic energy. The band’s lineup boasts an impressive pedigree: vocalist Audie Franks and guitarist Max Priest (both formerly of Introvert - UNFD), guitarist Matt Van Herten, bassist Dominic Cant (formerly of Eat Your Heart Out - Fearless Records), and drummer Jack Farley.

Gratitude made their debut in August 2024 with the single “Misunderstood”, a track that struck an immediate chord with listeners. Garnering praise from triple j presenters, it received multiple plays on short.fast.loud and even a daytime spin from Dave Woodhead. The single quickly surpassed 25,000 streams on Spotify, cementing the band as one to watch.

From their very first show supporting UK heavyweights Boston Manor, Gratitude quickly found themselves sharing the stage with an impressive roster of international acts including Koyo, Fleshwater, Free Throw, and Microwave.

With a powerful live presence, strong artistic vision, and a run of compelling releases, Gratitude are poised to carve their own space in the Australian alternative scene and beyond.
